PassionPress is a UK-based digital media distribution platform and we’re building something a little different… okay, a lot different. The Citadel is our bespoke app dedicated entirely to romantasy ebooks and audiobooks. This isn’t your typical reading app, and we’re not here to play it safe.

The Citadel is built as a highly immersive application you can install seamlessly on your mobile device (yes, both Android and iOS). It features a game-like design, offline reading and listening, and a human-tagged discovery engine (no vague algorithms). Plus, you can track your reading habits, join quests, and unlock achievements as you go!

PassionPress was built by an indie author, for indie authors, and for those who adore the stories that defy convention. We ensure our platform remains a true sanctuary for this human-crafted magic, with fair compensation and a home where storytelling can thrive.

We operate on a user-centric subscription model. Instead of pooling funds blindly, your monthly subscription directly supports the specific authors you spend your time reading. This ensures that the creators behind your favourite worlds are paid fairly.

Cost: £9.99 monthly subscription for unlimited ebooks and audiobooks (our payment provider, Stripe, will automatically apply a conversion to your currency if you are not in the UK).
